Its been 3 weeks since my last entry - and i have been upto no good...
The first thing i have to say is.. i DO NOT proof read my entries, cos i cant be bothered - so for the ppl who like to fuss abt spellings you can kindly Fuck Off!!!
The last 3 weeks has been quite a hectic period. I've spent weekends in the White Gold Club, Attica (pls refer to earlier entry "Attica: where white is gold"), got a good scolding from my thesis supervisor, met a few girls, blacklisted a shop at Orchard Road and my savings are approaching zero.. Life can never be better... so here's a brief on the last 3 weeks
1. I wouldnt go into that much details about my prof.. but to make a long story short - he stopped me half way through my presentation to tell me tt i'm wasting his time and making him look like an idiot - partly cos i spent the whole weekend at Attica when i was supposed to be at home working out equations and understanding mathematical principles - but i didnt... so i tried to bluff my way out- but its quite hard to bluff a MIT PhD professor.. so i failed miserably..
2. Never buy stuff from Lucky Plaza, Orchard Road
About 3 months ago, i bought an electronic item for my PSP.. it didnt work to my expectations - so as my PSP is back in SRi Lanka i was only availble back in Singapore 2 months after i purchased it. The fucker who sold it to me, refused to exchange it - which pissed me off.. cos this is the same fucker who said i can return it in 2 months if it didnt work - or else i wouldnt had bought it if they had a 1 month policy. Funny thing is, i knew if i had returned it in 1 month - the policy would had reduced to 3 days. Then they accused me of breaking it and trying to get a replacement - so i gladly asked them to inspect it, they didnt even touch the box. which made me come to the conclusion that the device was already damaged (they didnt allow me to test it when i purchased it). After that, they threatened to call the cops to chase me away - i said go ahead, i even said that they can use my phone. so, after making a scene for half hour i abandoned my hopes of getting an exchange so i came back home and complained to the singapore tourism board. The STB said that they have no legal obligation to exchange, but STB can request a refund and if that fails i will have to take the case to the tribunal , hire a lawyer etc.. its not worth it.. Oh yeah - i complained to stb that singapore rates highest as one of my worst shopping experiences - comparable to a bangkok street shop.
