That time of the year..

Ok guys.. its that time of the year.. even though im Angostic (dont ask me the true definition of that word).. i cant prevent myself from getting bitten by the Christmas Spirit.. and therefore wish all my regular readers and randomn people a

A MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
But, like every week after xmas, its time for Me to think of Resolutions for the New Year.. I am open for suggestions.. so please leave them on the dashboard situated on the righthand side of this blog site.
i have thought of a few which i really need to work on, ranked in order of importance:
1) Smoke only when I drink, or in a gathering of 3 or more smokers. I really need to cut down, but i know its impossible for me to quit, in this case i would prob smoke only 2 days in a week. but the danger is that i usually finish a pack whenever i go clubbing, and if next year is similar to my last 2 months.. that would be roughly 2 packs a week!!!!
2) Conserve Money. I've been spending a lot in 2005 in things i would never usually purchase. I'm gonna limit myself to 1 designer shirt every 2 months. If my first resolution works, i would save a lot on ciggarettes, and i'd prob buy a carton when i go back to singapore, so that would save me 10 packs.
3) Put Studies ahead of everything else. I got 2 semesters left to finish my tertiary education. I need to raise my overall average to a respected level. Its not that its OK now, but i feel it below what i could be achieving.
For now, these are all i can think of.. if u guys can think of more.. please comment or post it on my dashboard.

Confessions of a Bored Mind

Its been 11 days since my last entry.. its not that i've given up my blog entrys.. its just the 'broadband' connections in Sri Lanka are really crappy..

Its been a week since i've been back home.. and havent achieved much.. watched a whole load of movies and thats about it. I went to a new club in Sri Lanka called Tabu.. its alright compared to the clubs we had on my last visit to Sri Lanka (4 months back), but still lacks the standard which im used to in Singapore. Sorry no pictures.. it will take ages to upload.. but on the bright side.. even though the browsing speeds are relatively slow, Torrents work perfectly, and i am able to catch up on all my favourite TV shows like Prison Break, OC, One tree hill etc.. which i couldnt at NUS since those bastards disabled Torrents and P2P from the network. I managed to apply for a replacement Identity Card.. managed to do it in a couple of hours.. and was a very easy process.. but my Driving license is a pain. going to get it done on Monday.. had to dealy it for a week now. thank god its a one day service..

The political front in Sri Lanka is highly volatile. Uncle Prabha is intensifying the Tigers struggle for a homeland.. and our beloved president Moustache is playing hell with the budget.. and cannot decide on a negotiator or a venue. ANyone reading this blog, and think Sri Lanka is a lovely sunny place to get away from the cruel northern winter.. think again... go to Bali.. the Tsunami would be a sunday stroll to wat Sri lanka is heading towards in the near future.

My fitness is non existent. Its beed a week since im on holiday and i already feel my stomach expanding.. and have to really suck it in to fit into my formal trousers. i tried jogging the other day.. it was useless.. it felt like my feet were magnets attacted to the earth. Have to trim down a bit for New year's eve.. to ft into my trousers..

Anyways.. i dont want to write everything that is on my mind.. then will have nothing to write for the next 3 weeks.. Good luck to the Sri Lankan Cricket team who will be fighting to draw the series against our neighbors to the north (india). Its gonna be a hard battle.. but i will be supporting our lankan lions all the way..

Sentosa Death Ride

Its amazing how I can make the Kiddy Rides dangerous.

So, last Sunday i was hoping for a nice afternoon by the beach at Sentosa, soaking in the sun recovering from partying the night before.

Sentosa Island (singapore) installed their latest attraction the Sentosa Luge (maximising idle space). Well the rides meant for all ages and sizes, but they didnt consider wat will happen when a bunch of early adulthood adrenaline pumped individuals, are given the oppurtunity to race down a slope on a frictionless object.. Total Chaos!!!

So.. my friend's and i were racing.. and i was in the lead.. when my friend crept from behind.. no way im gonna come in 2nd.. so i put aside all sence and went down full speed..

I managed to ignore the safety mans signals to slow down, as there was a 6 year old girl in front having problems, and the slow down barriers (my first plan was to go through the slow down barriers at full speed). So there i was, neck to neck with my friend.. not giving him any space to move.. he begins to slow down and manages to knock the little girl in front.. i turn around to see if shes safe.. then look back in front.. and next thing i knew i was flying over the barrier. little chunks of flesh from my fingers and toes came out..

Ignored the guy who came towards me.. and continued on the course.. at the end i was taken to a side.. the safety man said "You are too reckless, with no regard for the safety of yourself and others, for that you are not allowed on this ride again". But it was an unofficial warning.. easily ignored.. My friend got nothing.. the safety man said that it was my fault my friend knocked the girl..

Then the little girls mother came up to me pointing her finger.. and scolded me for not going slow.. So i said.." WTF bitch? you daughter cant even reach the handles of the luge.. and ur sending her down a slope.. ur the irresponsible one.."
Just joking.. kept my mouth shut.. i dont want a to end up in Sentosa Jail!!!

Only you can set me free... Cos i'm guilty, guilty..

Last night, was unexpectedly brilliant. At first i was skeptical celebrating my freedom from exams in a club that plays 80's and showtunes, but In The End (which was also the last song they played) i was one of the most satisfied out of the Mambo Bunch.

My first Mambo (not the latin dance) experience, late last year (2004), and honestly i didnt have a good time. coming from a country where the idea of a good time is getting smashed listening to 50 cent singing a song of how he gonna hump all the bitches In Da Club. But, Mambo is a total different experience. And if you lived in singapore for more than a month, u have missed out a lot if u havent been Mamboing. (Warning: 1 Mambo experience per 2 months is the recommended dosage). If you are a weekly Mamboer, Im sorry u are either too young to get into the 'cool' clubs or basically Gay, (i think most ppl might have thought i was gay since i wore a pink T-shirt, yes I wear pink.. its the new Black, i kept telling myself last night).

To enjoy urself.. u should be open to syncronised dancing. As gay it may sound, its quite fun (Warning: can only be enjoyed after 4 bourbon cokes and 2 jugs of Vodka Red Bull) and i picked a few dance moves.. The following are steps to the song 'Love in the first Degree' by Bananarama.. (not for the faint hearted, im wearing my pink t-shirt)

Only You...

Can set Me...

Free..

cos I'm Guilty.. Guilty...

of Love...

In the First Degree..
