Attica : where White is Gold..

Most of the nights out for me in the last 6 months have been to a Club in Singapore called 'Attica'. I would say that i was initially attracted to the decor and the 'Talent' (If you know wat i mean...) at Attica, but after awhile it makes you Wonder.. Do all Asian girls idea of a pefect night out is going hunting for the abundant seasonal influx of foreign Homo Sapiens (a.k.a The White Man)?

Even when i walk around campus, or around town, i notice many of the local decent looking women locked in conversation with a White man.. not brown or black.. WHITE.. it doesnt matter how much hair he has.. or the unproportionate waist line to upper torso.. only thing that passes their eyes, is the colour of the skin.. (most cultures believe that White is not even a colour)..

Dont get me wrong.. i do believe some Asian girls do find thier perfect man regardless of the colour, but the colour, in most times, does help pass the intitial screening phases. Do they really believe, that the White man will take them away from Singapore.. or that he is faithful when he returns to his homeland.. Some Asian girls still return to their favourite hunting ground, even after failing to capture the Game.. Ah.. and the Game, themselves, throw down their natural defences.. Makes me think.. Who is hunting who? Attica is not my favouite hunting ground.. although i have a few sweet and bitter memories.. (refer earlier blogs)

If only the roles were reversed.. If white girls go after Asian Men.. hehehe.. but i cant find that many examples to blog about..

but i guess thats the Asian Culture..We all (South or East) suffer from the Colonial hangover... Asians were never good enough to be independent for many centuries.. and that has struck a deep mental hole into our phsycology - White man is God!!!

On another note.. Does wearing a plaster on your thumb always gives the impression that your a careless smoker? Ok.. so i smoke.. and i happen to burn my thumb.. but that does not give the right for YOU to jump to the conlusion i'm a careless smoker.. what if i cut myself.. or hit my thumb against the wall.. dont these possible explanations cross your minds!!!

and please dont give me tt symphatic look - "Smoking is not good for your health" - everytime i say im a smoker.. for example.. at work.. my mentor is a cute chick.. one day i reached to my drawer to pull out a notepad and she saw my pack of Marlboro lights.. and her facial expression changed to 'Sorry - good luck with living'... Please avoid changes your expressions for the Smokers sake.. We are not gonna quit because you feel sorry for us..
